80% drop in home sales activity in Catonsville, Maryland last week. I’m walking on Rannoch Drive in the Dunmore neighborhood. Only two houses went under contract. Both landed between 500,000 and $520,000. One sold in under a week, the other in under two. Only one of last week’s 11 new listings went under contract. Now, that’s a real change from what we’ve been seeing around here. Right now, there are 86 homes for sale in 21228, and only two of them are coming soon. So buyers have choices again. More time to look, more time to think, and maybe a little more room to negotiate. The buyers I’m working with are feeling it and are getting excited.
