Happy Labor Day. Only three houses went under contract in Catonsville, Maryland last week. This is the late summer dip we expect every year. Last couple weeks of August, people still traveling, kids starting school, things always start to slow down right about now. Two houses sold in under a week and the third was that burned-out house on Ingleside Avenue. 442 days on the market with seven price drops. That one was always going to be a tough sell. I mean, between the fire damage and the location, it just needed the right buyer. The thing to know this week is that inventory just jumped to 71 listings with 10 of those coming soon, most hitting this week. Just a few days from now.
